From Struggle Street to Wall Street

I grew up in the tough northern suburbs of Hobart Tasmania and went to an even tougher public school. My school life focussed less on Shakespeare and more on survival, but I scored well in resilience.

After my school and university days, I worked in the pressured investment banking environments in London, New York, Sydney, Melbourne and Frankfurt. At times, it resembled more of a careering path than a career path but there were some lessons along the way that helped me reach levels that my ordinary beginnings could never have foreseen.
